Old buildings often come with little information and confining areas that present interesting challenges during renovation, and this was no exception. To update this 480-room hotel to 195 timeshare units, AHL’s interior and architectural design included an entirely new lobby, reception and recreation areas, as well as a sales center, support facilities, and retail and food areas needed for its new use. The landscape plan greened the renovated pool deck, giving residents a lush earthy place to lounge.
