Change in any way to the “First Lady of Waikīkī,” the very first hotel to be built on Waikiki Beach, takes a deft and sure modern touch, guided by a profound respect for the quality and essence of the past. AHL was proud to be selected for the project and is especially pleased with the modernization of the restaurant, which included the creation of an exhibition kitchen and expanded seating and bar area. Sight lines, open door views, materials and flow were carefully analyzed to allow for seamless transition from open view to the functional kitchen behind.
