The First Responder Technology Campus prepared a plan for the Hawai'i Technology Development Corporation to accommodate for seventeen different federal, State of Hawai’i, and City & County first responding agencies to have dedicated and shared training, administrative, classroom, and storage areas within a campus environment. AHL conducted thorough programming sessions identifying needs and wants of each agency, considering current uses, expansion opportunities, and an array of emergency situations.
The completed plan offers capacity suggestions and spatial programming for dedicated and shared spaces on one campus that prioritizes security, efficient circulation to training and parking areas, and accessibility to building and facilities sites. An open and safe green street allows for connectivity through campus’ core.
