AHL produced Historic American Building Survey (HABS) documentation for the teacher’s cottage located at the former Kaupo School on the south side of the island of Maui. The cottage, no longer in use, was continuing to deteriorate due to environmental exposure. Maui County requested documentation of the structure to record it before this historic structure was completely lost.

AHL completed HABS Level 1 documentation, which includes a narrative report, archival photographs, and measured drawings. The documentation was reviewed and approved by the National Park Service and will be stored in the Library of Congress.
